Game distribution Implemented
Minecraft stays with Minecraft
The installer does not contain or mirror Minecraft game files. Game metadata, assets, libraries, and versions are retrieved from Mojang/Microsoft-authorized services for the signed-in player.
Ownership Implemented
No offline or ownership bypass
Normal launch requires Microsoft sign-in and a Minecraft: Java Edition profile. Freedom Client does not provide cracked accounts, copied credentials, or a substitute entitlement system.
Mods Implemented
Mods, never a modded game copy
Freedom Client distributes its original launcher and companion components. Third-party files are resolved from their project hosts; it does not redistribute a complete or altered Minecraft installation.
Brand identity Implemented
Clearly independent
Freedom Client uses its own name, domain, aqua visual identity, and artwork. Minecraft is used only to describe compatibility, and the required unofficial-product notice is prominent.
Monetization Implemented
No pay-to-win or token economy
The client does not sell gameplay advantages, virtual currency, NFTs, or ownership-gated Minecraft functionality. This website currently has no advertising.
User safety Implemented
Warnings remain visible
The companion restyles ordinary title and pause menus, not Minecraft legal prompts, warnings, crash reports, or error messages. The launcher also surfaces failed and omitted dependencies.

Your account belongs
on your computer.
Freedom Client keeps account records and tokens on the user’s device using Windows-protected storage. The website has no account system, trackers, or advertising, and the project does not sell personal data.
When used, the launcher connects directly to the services needed for sign-in, game delivery, loaders, and publisher-hosted files. Microsoft, Mojang, Modrinth, Fabric, and optional CurseForge process requests under their own terms and privacy policies.
